Hey there!

I’m pleased you’re here to further explore how we can work together in bereavement, grief and loss. Whether you’re in need of one-to-one support, looking for group support, or employee services, this is where you’ll find the information you need.

Who I work with

I work with bereaved people, and those who have suffered a loss. Loss can happen in many ways and under different circumstances. So whether somebody close to you has died, or you’re grieving a different form of loss, you’re in the right place.

I also work with businesses on a consultancy basis to help you support employees appropriately and compassionately.

What you can expect

I have a unique style of working which combines my own life experience with everything I’ve learnt in my professional career so far (in psychology, coaching, mindfulness and beyond). I take a compassion-led approach to creating bespoke and personalised support for bereavement, grief and loss.

Through our work, you’ll have access to a range of bereavement support, information and resources which have continued proven success for my clients. I’m always adding to this toolkit.

I currently offer online services in three key areas. Due to Coronavirus, face-to-face services will resume as and when I am able to do so.

If you don’t see what you need in these options or you’re unsure which to choose, contact me for a chat.

Current services:

I’m here to support you after the death of someone close, or another loss in your life, has left you in a state of grief. Grief is an entirely natural process and I know it can feel devastating and painful.

Having had lived experience of bereavement and loss, I understand the difficult journey you find yourself on. Every experience of grief is unique; there are no rules, no normal way to be, and there isn’t a timeline for healing. Yet a bereavement and some other forms of loss are the most stressful life events we can be faced with.

I’m truly passionate about supporting you on your grief journey, regardless of where you find yourself right now. It’s important that you recognise when you need support and that asking for help is a strength.

Right now, I offer online sessions and have flexible arrangements in place to help you during the pandemic. I also have additional options if you’re dealing with financial constraints. Consultations are £25 which you can book direct. If you have an informal enquiry or a question, please contact me.

Mindfulness is scientifically proven to reduce stress. It’s also effective for helping you to cope with emotional and physical pain. This is why I teach mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) courses and having personally experienced the benefits, I believe that learning how to bring mindfulness into your everyday life has a positive impact on your health and well-being. Especially after loss.

“Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally”. John Kabat-Zinn, Founder of MBSR.

Complete course fees are £145 for 8 sessions and include all the materials you need, as well as a separate retreat day. Please note that all courses are currently being delivered online.

Please ask for details of course dates and how to enrol.

I also facilitate mindfulness taster sessions for community groups and events, as well as tailored workshops for businesses. Please contact me to discuss these options further.

It’s more important than ever that your employees are treated with compassion and that your organisation understands how best to support people through bereavement, grief and loss.

Taking the time to ensure your policies, procedures and support frameworks meet with the needs of your employees will lead to a positive impact on the health and well-being of your workforce, as well as an enhanced reputation.

I offer bespoke packages dependant on your needs, including things such as:

  • Reviewing bereavement policies, procedures and processes.
  • Delivering bereavement and grief awareness training (or workshops) for employees and management teams.
  • Facilitating one-to-one support for bereaved employees, or for colleagues supporting the bereaved.

Fees are dependant on your needs, so please get in touch to discuss further.

I am a compassionate person by nature and the way I work reflects this. Your sessions will focus on you and will be led by your changing needs. No judgement or expectations.

You’re grief is as unique as each star in the sky, which is why I create bespoke support options to meet you where you’re at. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach or standard programme.

If you’re undecided about working together, or you need to talk things through, I offer initial consultations where I will simply listen. There is no obligation beyond this point.

In between sessions I’ll check in with you and if needed, offer additional support as we go. I also offer a follow-up after we’ve finished working together.
