In this episode, I’m talking to Maxine Cook, who is a psychologist and sleep disorder specialist.
Not only is she helping to educate us about what quality sleep is, she also explains why grief affects sleep so much – and what to do about it.
Originally born in New Zealand, and now living in Wales – UK, Maxine graduated with an MSc in Forensic Psychology, and holds post-graduate diplomas in a raft of complementary therapies. She has previously worked with the police, in the prison service and with the NHS.
Maxine now works in private practice, primarily with clients all across the world with long-standing sleep problems, and whose insomnia is having a negative impact on their health, relationships and working lives.
